This award is given to any member who has contributed 16 or more volunteer hours on a trail maintenance project, although most of this years winners go far beyond that, sometimes volunteering 100 or more hours of their time to give something back to the trails we all love to hike, mostly in Eagle Creek Park. Here are the six winners:

Club Service Award
This award is given by the Board of Directors to any member the board feels deserves special recognition for their service to the Club. This year the board has chosen recognize Rick Kinnaman. He was not at the banquet to receive his award, since he was home recovering from recent foot surgery. Rick is being honored because of his continued volunteering to lead hikes (at least 4 different ones in the most recent schedule) for others, something he has done for many years. These hikes in all probability would have been cancelled had Rick not volunteered to lead them. Even when he is physically unable to hike himself he often shows up just to sign up others.

It come as no surprise to anyone in the Club that Phil Coons once again won this award for supplying the most photos to the Club website and Facebook page, which Phil also maintains. Here is a photo of Phil.
