Membership Award
This award is given to any member who is responsible for recruiting three or more new members to the Club during the Club year. The only way our Club can remain viable in future years is to add new members. This year we have three winners of the Membership Award:

Theresa Ray
Janet Cohen
Mervyn Cohen

Club Service Award
This award is given by the Board of Directors to individuals they feel deserve special recognition for their service to the Club. This year the Board choose to recognize two members: Bob Hackenberg and Mervyn Cohen.

Bob Hackenberg was honored for the technical skill and countless hours he expended out of the limelight to upgrade our website, especially allowing hike leaders to enter miles for the own hikes and greatly reduce the workload of our Mileage officer. Next year Bob will continue his efforts to simplify the workload of the Membership officer and Treasurer.

Mervyn Cohen

Mervyn Cohen was recognized for the skill and countless hours he spent planning, scouting and leading two recent Club trips to England, including all of the transportation logistics, meals and lodging. The two trips were the Ridgeway Trail in 2016 and the Yorkshire Dales in the fall of 2018. We would be remiss is we did not acknowledge the key role Mervyn’s wife Janet also played in making these trips so enjoyable.

IndyHike.Org Award
It should come as no surprise that once again Phil Coons contributed the most photos to the Club website by a wide margin. Phil also maintains the Club's great Facebook page.

Bill and Nell Larrison Pinnacle Award
This year there was no winner of this award.
